Revamped Mantle

The brown wood, gray tile, and beige walls simply weren't working so we went with a warm gray wall color and did a cream lacquer, glaze, and clearcoat on the mantle.  I'll have more photos of the cabinetry overhaul we did at this same home.

Round and Chairs

This customer was ready to get rid of the less classy fruit look for something a little more clean and edgy.  I did everything except the re-upholstery on the chairs.  We went with a cream glazed top, a deep red glazed base, and solid black chairs.  All done with tinted lacquer followed by a clearcoat.

From Bland to Bam

This was a simple repaint on a designers bedroom.  It was a fun color that took the mundane to a vibrant lively room.

From Poop Room to Powder Room

This little powder room was like most peoples guest restrooms. . . boring.  A little bit of carpentry, some paint, and some artistry can go a long way.  On the bottom we built the shelf and shadow boxes and painted them in cream gloss.  On the top we went with a darker base color and then stenciled it with a light beige.

Paint or Stone?

I recently painted a house with an old fireplace that had been painted over many times.  The customer had written off any posibility of returning it to any kind of beauty.  I suggested he give me a few hours with it and he was pleasantly surprised with the result.
Before. . .sort of.  I'd already sprayed a base coat and started tinkering.

Fireplace Mantle and Hood

This fireplace area was in a basement we fully repainted.  We painted the dark bland tiles, and followed it with a glaze and clearcoat.  You can see how it warmed it up, and made the beautiful wood pop out.  Pictures of the rest of the basement will be in a following post.

Distressed Glazed Chair

These chairs were originally brown but with the customers request were lacquered cream.  I then distressed them and added a glaze and finished with a clear coat of lacquer.

Antique Table

I had a customer buy this table at the DI for $15.  The finish was extremely worn but they loved the antique style of the table.  I stripped, stained, and clear coat lacquered this table.  I was even surprised with the results.
